2020 Outdoor Soccer Season Cancellation Notification and Refund Process Information
On Tuesday May 5th, the SWOAK Soccer Board made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 house league season in light of the overwhelming uncertainty that the CoVid-19 pandemic has brought with it.
Appropriate social distancing was the primary concern for the board, and for many of you who have reached out to us over the last several weeks. Maintaining a Fun, Fair and Safe environment for our players and their families, and for our volunteers is a priority for us, and it was felt that we could not adequately maintain the safety of the community during this time.
Thank you to all of our families for choosing SWOAK Soccer Programs for your children. We look forward to returning in the 2021 Season.
Special thanks to all our volunteer coaches, assistants and team volunteers. You are a critical part of the programs we run each summer and we appreciate your time and commitment to house league soccer in your community. We also hope to see you all back with us again during the 2021 season.
Our refund procedures for families is as follows:
All paid fees will be refunded in full over the next 60 days. Please ensure that your addresses are up to date in the registration system as cheques will be sent to the addresses that we have on file.
Any players that paid through Jumpstart will have their funds returned to Jumpstart.
Unpaid registrations that were not paid, or those for which cheques were sent and not cashed will also be cancelled.
